The Dark Mixed Media Mind of David DeFigueredo

Gloomy Sunday by David DeFigueredo

The art work of David DeFigueredo is not for the faint of heart. It doesn’t warm the heart. It doesn’t insert any shiny happy feelings of comfort. But it should be shared. David’s art over the years has stretched from political propaganda, to suicide, to just plain strange.

David lives in Texas with his wife and children. He has always been into art.  He started to tattoo and airbrush in the early 90‘s, then computer graphics and mixed media began to dominate his commercial work.

“the most fascinating part is being able to create something from nothing everyday and having the resolve to see the images in my head realized.”

The first piece of art is entitled “Gloomy Sunday”. I felt it was appropriate for this beautiful 82 degree Sunday in Gilbert, Arizona :)
