At first glance you may have thought these were photographs or perhaps digital art, but all of these are done with acrylic on cavas. A beautiful example of emotion and realism in traditional art.  Each of the people that Truls Espedal paints seems to have their own struggle. Each of these pieces have an energy that draws you in and after a prolonged period of staring tends to leave you speechless.
